  • Analyze the principle of least privilege and its purpose.

  • Previous content is reviewed during opening task

Differentiation:

  • Various mediums of content is provided to scholars to use

Opening Task (30 mins)

  • Scholars will complete opening task on Schoology covering topics learned from python foundations unit
  • Randomly selected scholar will facilitate review with peers

Quick Search/ Write + Review (05 Minutes)

Scholars use prior knowlegde / internet research to answer the following questions on schoology:

  • What are the various windows user account types?
  • What is PoLP? Explain
  • What are various Access Control Methods used in Windows?

Mini Lesson (25 Minutes)

Teacher guided lesson on various access controls settings in windows:

  • Have you ever tried to install software on Windows (personal or school based), what happens, why?

File Extension Demo (10 Minutes)

Teacher demonstration of the importance of file extensions:

  • What are common file extensions you use?
  • Hypothesize, what would happen if I change a image extension to txt?

Break Time (10 Minutes)

Work Time

Scholars will have work time to complete their labs
